Massive Sinkhole Swallows Motorbike in South Korea: 1 Missing, 1 Injured

A huge sinkhole, 20 meters in diameter and 30 meters deep, has formed on a highway in South Korea. A moving motorcycle fell into the sinkhole, and efforts to find the driver are ongoing.

The capital of South Korea, Seoul, witnessed a calamitous accident.

According to information obtained from local authorities, a collapse occurred on a highway in the Gangdong district yesterday evening at 6:28 pm.

Following the incident, a massive sinkhole, 20 meters in diameter and 30 meters deep, formed, causing a moving motorcycle to fall into it.

A passing car narrowly avoided falling into the sinkhole. Following the incident, a large number of health and rescue teams were sent to the scene.

DRIVER RESCUED INJURED

The female driver of the vehicle, who narrowly escaped falling into the sinkhole, was taken to the hospital injured, while efforts to find the motorcycle driver are ongoing. Initial assessments indicate that a burst water pipe caused the collapse on the highway. A detailed investigation into the incident has been initiated.
