In the first quarter, Turkey exported crushed red pepper worth 3 million 622 thousand dollars to 59 countries. According to data compiled from the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations, last year, 13.9 million dollars worth of crushed red pepper was exported to 101 countries from Turkey. The crushed red pepper export, which was 3 million 597 thousand dollars in the same period last year, increased to 3 million 622 thousand dollars in the same period this year. Germany took the first place in crushed red pepper exports by countries with 724 thousand dollars. It was followed by the Netherlands with 512 thousand dollars and the United Kingdom with 329 thousand dollars.
