Monthly support of 20,745 lira for women’s employment

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Işıkhan, mentioned that applications are still ongoing for the project supporting women’s employment. Within the project, a monthly support of 20,745 lira will be provided. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan reminded that the applications for the Support of Registered Women Employment Project continued, benefiting 2,100 female employers and 2,100 female workers. Işıkhan stated in a written statement on his social media account that increasing registered employment was essential for a strong Turkey. Emphasizing that supporting registered women employment was one of the most important agenda items to achieve this goal, Işıkhan highlighted that applications for the Support of Registered Women Employment Project (Women-Up II) were ongoing. He mentioned, “2,100 female employers and 2,100 female workers will benefit from the project.” The monthly support amount was specified as 20,745 lira by Işıkhan, who also noted that the total support amount to be provided within the project was 10 million euros (372 million 812 thousand lira). The visual shared by Işıkhan regarding the project also included the statement, “We provide grant support to female employers operating in Istanbul, Ankara, Aydın, and Samsun for hiring additional female workers.”
