Netanyahu Joins Raid in Refugee Camp: Directs Increase in Attacks in West Bank

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu participated in a raid on a Palestinian’s home in the Tulkerim Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank’s northern region.
Israeli state television KAN released a photo showing Netanyahu entering a Palestinian’s house in the Tulkerim Refugee Camp in the West Bank with some officers from the Israeli army. The caption of the photo read, “Netanyahu conducting a field tour in the Tulkerim Refugee Camp following the explosions in Bat-Yam yesterday.” Netanyahu, who last visited the West Bank in September 2024 when he visited the Jordan border.

Netanyahu claimed that they were carrying out a critical operation and following the explosions in Bat-Yam on buses yesterday, he, along with Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, had given orders to send reinforcement forces to the West Bank and increase attacks. Following the successive explosions on 3 buses in Bat-Yam in the south of Tel Aviv yesterday, the Israeli army had escalated attacks in the occupied West Bank. It was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had instructed the army for a “strong attack” in the West Bank, leading to the deployment of 3 additional battalions to the region.
SUCCESSIVE EXPLOSIONS ON 3 BUSES Yesterday evening, there were successive explosions on 3 buses in Bat-Yam, south of Tel Aviv. Metro services were halted after the explosions, and there were no reported casualties. An investigation was launched into the incident.
