Netanyahu Warns of Military Option if Iran’s Nuclear Facilities are not Destroyed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that if Iran’s nuclear facilities are not destroyed under US supervision in a potential agreement, the “military option will be considered.” Netanyahu made this statement in a video message released in Washington. Emphasizing that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons, Netanyahu argued that this goal could be achieved through either an agreement or the “military option.” Netanyahu mentioned that he and Trump agree on the necessity of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, adding that Tehran could be prevented from acquiring such weapons through negotiation. Netanyahu insisted that in a potential agreement, Iran’s nuclear facilities should be completely destroyed under US supervision, and the equipment in these facilities should be removed. The Israeli Prime Minister stated that if Iran’s nuclear facilities are not destroyed or if Tehran extends negotiations with the US, the military option would come into play. Netanyahu also mentioned discussing the forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza with Trump and claimed that they have been in talks with some countries to accept these Palestinians as part of a plan. Netanyahu advocated for the eventual implementation of the plan revealed by Trump. Additionally, Netanyahu accused Turkey of wanting to establish military bases in Syria, which he claimed poses a threat to Israel. He expressed opposition to Turkey’s military bases in Syria and mentioned telling President Trump, a friend of his and Erdogan, “If we need your help, we will discuss this matter with you.”
