New decision for taxpayers affected by earthquake

The deadlines for uploading e-ledgers have been extended for taxpayers whose force majeure status due to the earthquake has ended. The circular of the Revenue Administration Presidency of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance on the subject has been published on the presidency’s website. Accordingly, for taxpayers in Adiyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaras, Malatya, Gaziantep’s Islahiye and Nurdağı districts declared as force majeure due to the earthquake, as well as for taxpayers between the places defined with tax liability records outside these places but with an “Intermediation and Liability Agreement” with professionals in these places as of the earthquake date of February 6, 2023, whose force majeure status ended on November 30, 2024, the deadlines for the processes related to their e-ledger applications have been redefined. In this context, the deadline for creating and signing e-ledgers that need to be created and signed by the mentioned taxpayers by the end of March 10, June 10, and June 16, as well as the deadline for uploading ledgers and certificates to the GIB Information Processing System, has been extended until the end of June 30.
