PTT is preparing to deliver packages on the same day. The pilot program started in Bursa and will be implemented in Ankara. The on-site delivery system will also speed up the delivery processes. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made statements about PTT’s new projects. Minister Uraloğlu stated that within the scope of the Same-Day Delivery project, packages with the same destination within major cities with intense e-commerce activities will be delivered on the same day. STARTED IN BURSA, NEXT IN ANKARA The project was initiated in Bursa on January 13, 2025. Uraloğlu said, “Within the Same-Day Delivery Project that we started as a pilot in Bursa, we delivered approximately 4,000 packages to their recipients on the day they were accepted.” Uraloğlu stated that the application will be implemented in Ankara in the second phase of the project, and after the pilot program, the service will also be provided in major cities such as Istanbul and Izmir. ON-SITE DISTRIBUTION IS BEGINNING Providing information about the On-Site Distribution model, Uraloğlu noted that the aim is to deliver packages sent from a different province than the receiving province on the same day they arrive at the destination. Uraloğlu noted that the implementation will initially start in Şanlıurfa.
