New mesmerizing images of the Moon: Look at the dark side!

A US-based private aerospace company, Firefly Aerospace, shared images captured by the Blue Ghost spacecraft of the Moon’s surface from 100 kilometers above. The image included the far side of the Moon not visible from Earth.Via its social media platform X, the private aerospace company Firefly Aerospace located in Texas, US, released images of the Moon’s surface captured by the Blue Ghost spacecraft from 100 kilometers above. In a video post, the company used the phrase, “That feeling when you look out the window and realize you’re almost home.”The image showed the far side of the Moon not visible from Earth. Launched on January 15th by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and entering the Moon’s orbit on February 13th, the spacecraft will attempt to land on the Moon’s surface on March 2nd. The spacecraft’s surface mission will last for 14 days.If successful, Blue Ghost will be the second private spacecraft to achieve a soft landing on the Moon. The only private spacecraft to have accomplished a gentle landing on the Moon before was the “Odysseus” spacecraft of the Intuitive Machines space research company.
