New proposal from Israeli far-right: Releasing multiple Palestinians for each Israeli captive caught

Reports indicate that members of the far-right Religious Zionism Party in Israel have proposed a bill that would only allow one Palestinian captive to be released in exchange for each Israeli captive set free. According to Channel 12 TV, the far-right Religious Zionism lawmakers introduced a bill that prohibits the release of multiple Palestinian prisoners in exchange for one Israeli captive, a move strongly opposed by captive families. The bill also prohibits the release of Palestinian prisoners for the bodies of Israeli captives. It was noted that Religious Zionism lawmaker Ohad Tal clarified that the proposal presented to the Israeli Knesset is not related to the ceasefire and prisoner swap agreement violated by the Tel Aviv administration in Gaza. The report highlighted strong opposition from Israeli captive families against the proposed bill.
