New Weapon Shipment from the US to Israel: Plans to Attack Iran Discussed

While plans to attack Iran are being discussed, the US sent military equipment to Israel through 9 cargo planes carrying bunker-busting bombs. According to Israel’s state television KAN, within the last 24 hours, 9 cargo planes carrying military equipment sent by the US landed at Nevatim Airbase. It was claimed that hundreds of bunker-busting bombs reaching Nevatim Base were sent to Israel in case of the failure of negotiations between the US and Iran, to prepare for a potential attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The equipment was reportedly transferred to Israel from American bases in Europe and the Middle East. The report mentioned that last week, dozens of US cargo planes carrying interceptors for the Israeli-based Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and high-tonnage MK-84 bombs had arrived in Israel. It was alleged in The New York Times that Israel had presented a plan to the White House in May for a major attack against Iran, including hitting Tehran’s nuclear facilities. President Donald Trump’s rejection of Israel’s attack plan and his decision to pursue nuclear negotiations with Iran were reported. The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office did not deny the news that Trump had rejected Israel’s plan to attack Iran in May. Trump stated that he did not “push back” Israel’s possible attack plan on Iran but mentioned that he was not in a hurry concerning this matter at the moment.
