The equipment was reportedly transferred to Israel from American bases in Europe and the Middle East. The report mentioned that last week, dozens of US cargo planes carrying interceptors for the Israeli-based Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and high-tonnage MK-84 bombs had arrived in Israel. It was alleged in The New York Times that Israel had presented a plan to the White House in May for a major attack against Iran, including hitting Tehran’s nuclear facilities. President Donald Trump’s rejection of Israel’s attack plan and his decision to pursue nuclear negotiations with Iran were reported.
