Nvidia, a US chip maker, sees 78% revenue increase: “Artificial intelligence is progressing at light speed”

In this period, the company’s revenue increased by 78% annually to $ 39.3 billion. Nvidia, which also increased its revenue by 12% compared to the previous quarter, had a revenue of $ 22.1 billion in the same period last year. Market expectation was for Nvidia’s revenue in this period to be $ 38.05 billion. Nvidia’s revenue for the overall 2025 fiscal year reached $ 130.5 billion, a 114% increase. The chip maker announced its revenue expectation for the current quarter as $ 43 billion.
The company’s net income also increased by 80% in that quarter, reaching $ 22.1 billion annually. The company’s net income was recorded as $ 12.3 billion in the same period last year. Nvidia’s earnings per share in the fourth quarter of the 2024 fiscal year, which were 49 cents, increased to 89 cents in this period. The company’s earnings also exceeded market expectations.
