Only Wealthy Russians Will Obtain Visas: They Won’t Easily Enter the USA

According to a report from The New York Times, based on sources from the United States, US authorities are planning to tighten entry regulations for citizens from 43 countries, including Russia and Belarus.
The entry regulations for citizens of 43 countries will be revised, as reported by the Russian TASS news agency from The New York Times, one of the leading newspapers in the US.
Washington will not completely close its borders to Russian and Belarusian citizens. However, only wealthy entrepreneurs visiting the US for business purposes will be able to obtain visas. According to sources within the US government cited by the newspaper, tourists and immigrants from Russia and Belarus will not be allowed entry.
New entry rules for the United States will also affect 41 more countries.
THEY WON’T BE ABLE TO CROSS THE BORDER
It was reported that the US Department of State proposed dividing these countries into three categories. Citizens of the countries in the first group will be prohibited from crossing the US border. These countries include Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. The second category implies significant restrictions on visiting the US. Along with Russia and Belarus, eight more countries fall into this category: Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan. US authorities included countries where information on controls is insufficient and those requiring partial or complete travel restrictions in the third group.
These countries are Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, The Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Sao Tome and Principe, Vanuatu, and Zimbabwe. It was noted that the list of countries and their classification by the Department of State was developed a few weeks ago and may now be subject to change.
