OpenAI did not disclose the number of paying customers with active subscriptions to ChatGPT Plus or ChatGPT Pro. According to data from September 2024, the company had 1 million corporate users paying. With the user count nearly doubling, rapid growth in the corporate sector is also anticipated. In a statement from the company, it was noted that ChatGPT has been influential in the increase in user numbers compared to its competitors. Not long ago, OpenAI had rejected a $97.4 billion offer from a group of entrepreneurs led by Elon Musk. Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, had just released the Grok 3 chatbot this week.
