Passed in the parliament: When will SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund holiday bonuses for 2025 be paid?

A bill containing the increase of the retirement holiday bonus to 4,000 Turkish Lira was approved in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey’s Planning and Budget Committee. Retired individuals will receive a total of 8,000 Turkish Lira during the Ramadan and Eid al-Adha holidays. With the countdown starting for the Ramadan month, retirees under SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Retirement Fund are now considering the payment dates for the bonuses. Payments will be made on different days according to allocation numbers for retirees. The extra cost of 28 billion Turkish Lira in the 2025 budget is expected due to the thousand Turkish Lira increase in the holiday bonuses. Retirement holiday bonuses will be deposited into accounts where the pension is received. So, when will the retirement holiday bonuses for 2025 be paid? The newly anticipated holiday bonus amount for millions of retirees has been revealed. After being deposited into accounts for 3,000 Turkish Lira last year, this year’s bonuses will amount to 4,000 Turkish Lira. Bonus payments will be made separately to retirees under SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Retirement Fund on different days. The bonus payment days vary according to the last digit of the allocation number. Payment days will be determined following a study by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Bonus payments will be completed before the holiday. Ramadan will start on March 30th this year. Approximately 15.5 million retirees will benefit from the retirement holiday bonus of 4,000 Turkish Lira, as included in the approved bill by the Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, made a statement. Işıkhan said that once the bill passes through the parliament, the bonuses will be deposited into the retirees’ accounts. Bonus payments were made on June 10-14 last year before the start of the Eid al-Adha holiday on June 16. AK Party Group Chairman, Güler, announced that the retirement holiday bonus has been increased from 3,000 to 4,000 Turkish Lira. Similar to previous years, payments are expected to be deposited into accounts between March 24-28. SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund bonus payment days will be based on allocation numbers. In addition to 16 million retirees, individuals receiving benefits such as widow and orphan pensions, disability pensions, post-work accident continuous disability income, families of martyrs, combat veterans, security guards, champion athletes, and civilians affected by terrorism will also receive bonuses based on percentage shares of 75%, 50%, and 25%.
