Discussions between Ukraine and the US to end the war with Russia have started in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The US delegation will also meet with the Russian delegation tomorrow.

The US and Ukraine delegations have met in the Saudi capital Riyadh to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated, “We have started talks with the US team in Riyadh.”

Umerov highlighted that they are implementing President Volodymyr Zelensky’s instructions to strengthen peace and security, stating, “Our agenda includes proposals to protect energy facilities and critical infrastructure. Today, we are working on a range of complex technical issues. Our delegation includes energy experts as well as military representatives from the naval and air forces.”

The US and Ukraine delegations last met in the Saudi city of Jeddah on March 11, with the meeting lasting for 9 hours. The US delegation will meet with the Russian delegation tomorrow.
