New bonus opportunities are being offered to retirees planning to transfer their pensions to another bank in early 2025. As of February, banks aiming to attract new customers continue to offer attractive deals. Both public and private sector banks are trying to attract more customers by preparing special advantageous campaigns for retirees. Bonus payments can reach up to 27,000 TL. So, which bank offers the highest bonus? Updates have been made in the incentive packages for retirees in 2025. While public bank bonuses ranged from 8,000 to 12,000 TL last year, this figure rose to 21,000 TL in private banks. This year, public banks provide support to retired customers up to 12,000 TL, while private banks manage to raise this figure to 27,000 TL. As competition between banks intensifies, retirees should take careful steps to seize these opportunities.

Retirees who transfer their SSI, Bağkur, or Retirement Fund pension to Akbank between February 1-28, 2025, and commit to receiving their pension from our Bank for 3 years will be able to benefit from bonuses of up to 15,000 TL. Those who transfer their pension to Albaraka between March 28 – October 31 are offered opportunities to earn bonuses of up to 12,000 TL and a chance to win a total of 16,000 TL in prizes. Bonuses range from 6,500 TL for those with a pension of 0 – 9,999 TL, 10,400 TL for 10,000 – 14,999 TL pensions, 13,000 TL for 15,000 – 19,999 TL pensions, and 15,600 TL for pensions of 20,000 TL and above.

If you are a retiree, receive your pension from DenizBank and benefit from up to 20,000 TL in cash bonuses and numerous exclusive privileges for retirees. In addition to the 12,000 TL cash bonus, MobileDeniz, Credit Card, Automatic Bill Payment, and Revolving Deposit Account product owners who open a new account at DenizBank and commit to receiving their pension for 3 years are eligible for an additional bonus of up to 8,000 TL based on the pension amount.

Retirees who receive their pension from Garanti BBVA are eligible for cash bonuses of up to 15,000 TL! Cash bonuses of 6,250 TL for retirees with pensions up to 10,000 TL, 10,000 TL for pensions between 10,000 – 15,000 TL, 12,500 TL for pensions between 15,000 – 20,000 TL, and 15,000 TL for pensions over 20,000 TL are being offered. Retired customers who commit to receiving their income or pensions from Garanti BBVA for 3 years between February 1 – 28, 2025, can benefit from the retiree bonus advantage.

All SGK retirees who commit to receiving their pension through our Bank for 3 years are eligible for bonuses of up to 12,000 TL. Bonus payments are as follows based on the pension amount: 8,000 TL for those with 10,000 TL – 14,999.99 TL pensions, 10,000 TL for those with 15,000 TL – 19,999.99 TL pensions, and 12,000 TL for those with pensions of 20,000 TL and above.

Customers who receive their SGK (Retirement Fund, SSI, Bağ-Kur) pension payments through Ziraat Bank are offered bonuses of up to 12,000 TL. Customers should apply to receive their pension payments through Ziraat Bank for 3 years to benefit from the bonus. Based on the pension amount, bonuses range from 5,000 TL for pensions up to 10,000 TL, 8,000 TL for pensions between 10,000 TL – 15,000 TL, 10,000 TL for pensions between 15,000 TL – 20,000 TL, and 12,000 TL for pensions over 20,000 TL.

SGK (SSI, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund) retirees who transfer their pensions to ING Bank can earn up to an additional unconditional cash bonus of 15,000 TL based on the pension amount. By taking advantage of additional cash bonuses, retirees can earn up to a total of 25,000 TL in cash bonuses.

New retirees and those who retired under the Early Retirement Regulation are also eligible for pension bonuses. Retirees who transfer their pension to İş Bankası will receive a bonus payment after their pension is transferred to İş Bankası and they commit to receiving their pension through İş Bankası for 3 years.

Bonus payments are calculated based on the amount equivalent to one month of all pension payments mediated (with the deduction of attachment and alimony, if any) and paid in advance for 3 years according to the rates shown in the table.

The bonuses for different pension ranges are as follows: 5,000 TL for pensions between 0 – 9,999 TL, 8,000 TL for pensions between 10,000 TL – 14,999 TL, 10,000 TL for pensions between 15,000 TL – 19,999 TL, and 12,000 TL for pensions of 20,000 TL and above. Retirees who transfer their pension to TEB and commit to receiving it from TEB for 36 months can earn up to 21,000 TL in bonuses (12,000 TL main bonus plus 9,000 additional bonus). By giving 2 or more automatic bill payment instructions (with the mandatory requirement of an electricity or natural gas bill), you can earn additional bonuses and receive up to 21,000 TL in bonuses.

SGK retirees who transfer their pension to VakıfBank can benefit from bonuses of up to 12,000 TL. In addition to the bonus, VakıfBank offers cash payment options of up to 1,500 TL per month and up to 15,000 TL in total for VakıfBank Troy Retiree Credit Card holders. For one month of pension payments based on the following ranges; 5,000 TL total for up to 10,000 TL pensions, 8,000 TL total for pensions between 10,000 TL – 15,000 TL, 10,000 TL total for pensions between 15,000 TL – 20,000 TL, and 12,000 TL total for pensions over 20,000 TL will be paid in cash upfront for 3 years.
