TPAO has applied for the expansion of the oil exploration license area in Siirt and Şırnak. The Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has submitted an application to expand the exploration license area in Siirt and Şırnak. The decisions related to Petroleum Rights of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs were published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, TPAO applied to add the M48-c3 map of 15,346 hectares to its AR/TPO/K/M48-c1 map oil exploration license area in Siirt and Şırnak.
