In the first three months of the year, Turkey exported pistachios worth $59,759,000 to 66 countries. Pistachios, which receive significant attention from farmers due to the high economic gain they provide and their wide range of uses, are grown in 22 cities across Turkey, particularly in Şanlıurfa and Gaziantep. According to data compiled from the Southeast Anatolia Exporters’ Associations, pistachios worth $229,777,000 were exported to 96 countries in 2024. During the January-March period of this year, $59,759,000 in revenue was generated from pistachio exports to 66 countries. Italy ranks as the top country for pistachio exports from Turkey. In the first quarter of this year, pistachios worth $18,546,000 were sold from Turkey to Italy. Following Italy in pistachio exports are Germany with $11,556,000 and Kazakhstan with $3,575,000.
