President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Sani. The discussion covered bilateral relations between Turkey and Qatar, as well as regional and global issues. President Erdogan expressed that the Eid was being celebrated with a heavy heart due to Israel’s attacks and oppression in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, and stated that they would continue to make maximum efforts to stop the bloodshed and tears and to assist the oppressed. Erdogan also extended his greetings for the Eid to Al Sani.
