President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in a telephone conversation with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Mirziyoyev congratulated Erdogan on his birthday during the call. According to a statement from the Presidency Communications Directorate, Erdogan discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as regional and global issues, with Mirziyoyev over the phone. The Uzbek President also extended his birthday wishes to President Erdogan.
