President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stating that trade wars will have a global impact, warned that it will not be an exaggeration to say that a severe storm that will affect everyone is coming. Erdogan expressed confidence that Turkey will easily overcome this period.

“I congratulate you once again on Ramadan Bayram.” said President Erdogan, “Our municipalities knocked on the doors of the poor, the needy, and the orphans, empathized with their troubles, and found solutions to their difficulties. We also hosted various segments of our people in the homes of the nation. We sincerely made efforts to give the right value to the month of mercy and blessings.”

Responding to the CHP’s “boycott” call, President Erdogan criticized by saying, “Turkey did not heed the boycott calls. Those who called for boycotts faced a boycott from our citizens directly. Those who thought they would sink the Turkish economy once again found themselves empty-handed. Despite all the opposition’s plots, we are growing Turkey.”

Responding to CHP Chairman Ozgur Ozel’s “putschist” remarks, Erdogan said, “The public does not support you, and you are seeking help from putschists. CHP means coup.”
