President Trump Addressed Congress: Signed Executive Order for Death Penalty of Police Killers

President Donald Trump of the United States delivered his first speech to Congress of his second presidential term. Discussing Russia-Ukraine peace talks, Trump mentioned receiving a letter from Ukrainian President Zelensky, who expressed Ukraine’s readiness to come to the negotiation table. In the joint session of Congress marking the beginning of his second term, President Trump emphasized their determination to revive the “American Dream” through actions taken in various areas, from border security to the economy, government regulation to foreign policy.
A peculiar incident occurred at the beginning of Trump’s speech in the House Chamber. Despite warnings from House Speaker Mike Johnson, Democratic Representative Al Green continued to disrupt Trump’s speech and was subsequently escorted out of the chamber by security personnel. While Democratic members booed Trump, Republicans chanted “USA.” Trump claimed they inherited wreckage from the Biden administration, promising to lower energy prices and enhance the income of Americans. He declared, “The time for great dreams and bold steps has come, the American Dream is back.”
RUSSIA-UKRAINE PEACE TALKS
Trump mentioned receiving a letter from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, stating, “Ukraine is ready to sit at the negotiation table for peace under Trump’s strong leadership. We are ready to sign the rare earth elements agreement. I also spoke with Russia, and they are ready for peace.”

Alongside the Golden Card program, Trump announced that individuals investing in a $5 million business would become U.S. citizens.
President Trump also disclosed the capture and extradition of the perpetrator behind an attack in Afghanistan three and a half years ago, targeting American troops and allegedly carried out by ISIS terrorists.
“SIGNED THE TWO GENDER ORDER”
He highlighted signing a presidential order officially recognizing only two genders, male and female. Trump conveyed that they would prevent individuals who change their gender from participating in women’s sports and eradicate the indoctrination of “gender change ideology” in state schools. Prominent points from Trump’s speech include: commencing reciprocal tariffs from April 2nd, aiming to make the U.S. prosperous again; Taiwan announcing the establishment of a $160 billion chip manufacturing factory in the U.S.; issuing an executive order mandating the death penalty for anyone killing police officers; urging Congress to fund the technologically advanced Gold Dome Missile Defense Shield entirely manufactured in the U.S.; reaffirming their intention to regain control of the Panama Canal, built by Americans for Americans and resulting in the loss of 38,000 American lives, clarifying that they refused to hand it over to China and are reclaiming it for Panama.
There was also a message for Greenland during the speech, expressing strong support for their right to determine their future and extending an invitation to join the United States for national and international security. Trump hinted at wealth and development opportunities for Greenland, previously considered improbable.
“LETTER FROM ZELENSKY”
Trump stressed the necessity for the Russia-Ukraine war to end, expressing his strong desire to conclude the conflict. He revealed that discussions with both parties were ongoing in attempting to reach a resolution. Trump announced receiving a letter from Ukrainian President Zelensky today, stating, “Ukraine is ready to sit at the negotiation table for a lasting peace as soon as possible. No one desires peace more than Ukrainians.” Trump continued by reading Zelensky’s letter, which mentioned Ukraine’s readiness to sign the rare earth elements and security agreement whenever convenient for the U.S. Thanking Zelensky for the letter, Trump also mentioned continued negotiations with Russia, expressing optimism in reaching a peace agreement together.
President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky had a heated discussion during their meeting in the Oval Office last Friday, leading to the cancelation of a planned joint press conference and the signing of the rare earth elements agreement. Zelensky left the White House alone following the dispute, with no agreement signed. Trump accused Zelensky of disrespecting the American people, while Zelensky maintained that he did nothing wrong to warrant an apology.
