The total privatization revenue, including contracts signed in 2024, was recorded at 4.1 billion dollars. The total revenue from privatizations conducted between 1986 and 2024 amounted to 134.1 billion lira. In 2024, eight Presidential Decrees included various services and institutions in the privatization scope and program. The transfer amount to the Treasury during the same period amounted to 276 million dollars. The Administration plans to continue privatizations in the upcoming period with the goal of creating an effective market mechanism, just like in 2024. Meanwhile, preparations for the public offering of TEIAS were extended until December 31, 2026, by Presidential Decree. Additionally, the privatization activities related to “custodianship activities” included in the privatization scope and program by Presidential Decree in 2021 are aimed to be completed by December 31, 2025. It is expected that the privatization transactions will be carried out by applying the granting of operating rights, revenue-sharing model, and other appropriate legal methods separately or together as required by the nature of the business.
