Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the talks that took place between US and Russian delegations in Riyadh had a positive outcome. Putin also mentioned that Ukraine will participate in the negotiations.

The capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, hosted a historic summit yesterday. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sat down at the table to discuss the situation of the war in Ukraine. According to the Russian TASS news agency, the meeting lasted for 4.5 hours. The Kremlin announced that the meeting went well.

PUTIN: TALKS WENT WELL

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the talks that took place between US and Russian delegations in Riyadh had a positive outcome. He also mentioned that Ukraine will participate in the negotiations.

Putin also added that he would be happy to meet with US President Donald Trump. However, he pointed out that for this meeting to happen, both countries’ delegations need to prepare mutually acceptable solutions.

WILL UKRAINE JOIN PEACE TALKS?

Putin mentioned that during his meeting with Trump, the US President told him that Ukraine would also participate in the peace talks.

The Russian leader also said that he will have a phone call with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in the coming days.

He emphasized the need for energy discussions between the US, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

Speaking about the current situation in the war, Vladimir Putin disclosed that Russian troops had crossed from Kursk to Ukrainian territories.
