Rare Earth Element Agreement between USA and Ukraine: Could be signed today

Reports indicate that the rare earth element agreement between the USA and Ukraine could be signed today prior to President Donald Trump’s speech in Congress. Ukrainian leader Zelenski stated today, “My team and I are ready to work under the strong leadership of President Trump for lasting peace.”
Sources speaking to the US media mentioned that the White House last week mentioned that Trump and Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski were nearing an agreement that was contentious. Information obtained from sources who preferred to remain anonymous indicated that Trump informed his advisors that he wanted to announce the agreement in tonight’s speech in Congress. However, sources also mentioned that the agreement has not been signed yet by both parties and the situation could still change.

While it was expected that President Trump would sign an agreement with Ukrainian President Zelenski at the White House on February 28th, a surprising discussion took place in front of the cameras. Following the discussion, the joint press conference was canceled and Zelenski left the White House.
