The Petrol İş Union’s Gebze Branch signed a collective bargaining agreement with Bayer Turkish Chemicals workplace. With the agreement, workers’ net salaries exceeded 100,000 Turkish Liras. Bayer Turkish Chemicals company in Kocaeli reached an agreement with the Petrol İş Union’s Gebze Branch for a collective bargaining agreement. As a result of the agreement, the average net salary of workers at the factory rose to 102,000 TL, reaching a total monthly income of 176,000 TL, including social benefits. According to Kocaeli Newspaper’s report, the collective bargaining agreement at Bayer Turkish Chemicals where the Petrol İş Union’s Gebze Branch is organized was signed at the union’s headquarters. Representatives from the union and the employer attended the meeting.

NAKED SALARY REACHES 102,000 TL Petrol İş Union Gebze Branch President Şivan Kırmızıçiçek expressed satisfaction with the signed collective bargaining agreement. Kırmızıçiçek explained that the collective bargaining agreement covers the next two years and stated, “The result is as follows; the naked salary averages 102,000 Lira, while the total of the social benefits package is 176,000 Lira.”
