In Turkey, a record was broken on February 7th with a daily consumption of 300 million cubic meters of natural gas. A post from the account of the Pipeline Corporation of Turkey (BOTAŞ) stated, “Another record from BOTAŞ! Turkey broke the record with 300 million cubic meters of natural gas consumption on February 7, 2025.” The post also mentioned that the previous record was broken on January 19, 2022, with a daily consumption of 288 million cubic meters of natural gas.
