The defense industry sector broke an export record in March 2025. The announcement came from Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün.

In his statement, Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün highlighted that the export in the Defense and aviation sectors in March 2025 saw a historic increase of 147% compared to the previous year’s March. Görgün stated that the export, which was $358 million in March 2024, has increased to $884 million this year. The Defense Industry President emphasized that the sectoral export in the first quarter of the year reached $1.7 billion, reflecting a 72% increase compared to the same period last year.
