So, will the retirement holiday bonus increase in 2025, and how much will it be? It is expected that the government will determine a new figure for the holiday bonuses given to retirees twice a year. An expected statement regarding the holiday bonuses given to retirees was made by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, who announced, “We will work on the retirees’ holiday bonuses.” The retirement holiday bonuses had increased by 50% last year, reaching 3,000 liras. After the 15.75% increase given to retirees in 2025, the increase rate for holiday bonuses is expected to be between 20% and 40% this year. Here are the possible scenarios for the increase; If there is a 15.75% increase in retirement bonuses, it will be 3,472 liras. If there is a 20% increase, it will rise to 3,600 liras. If there is a 25% increase, it will be 3,750 liras. In the case of a 30% increase rate, the bonuses will increase by 900 liras and reach 3,900 liras. If there is a 35% increase in holiday bonuses, the bonus amount will exceed the limit of 4,000 liras and be 4,050 liras. In the case of a 40% increase, the bonuses received by retirees will rise to 4,200 liras.
