According to the statement from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), responses from 1738 workplaces operating in the manufacturing industry were collected and evaluated for the Economic Outlook Survey in March. According to the survey results, the capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1 points to 74.4 percent in March compared to the previous month. The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate (CUR-SA), considered as a leading indicator of growth, increased by 0.3 points to 75.2 percent compared to the previous month.
