Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov remarked that Ukraine targeted civilian buildings in attacks, saying, “The Kiev administration will not abandon its Nazi essence.” Peskov evaluated current issues in a statement to journalists in Moscow. Highlighting the drone attacks on Moscow region by Ukraine, Peskov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the incident. “Our troops continue to target military elements in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Kiev administration carries out attacks on civilian buildings. They will not abandon their Nazi essence,” Peskov said. Reminding that talks between US and Ukrainian delegations will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia today, Peskov mentioned that the US will somehow inform Russia about these negotiations. Regarding the possibility of the US leaving NATO, Peskov stated, “That is not our concern. NATO has its own charter.”
“ROMANIA IS TRAMPLING DEMOCRACY” Evaluating the removal of Calin Georgescu from the Romanian presidential election, Peskov said, “This is a complete violation of all democracy norms in the heart of Europe. In this case, Romania is treading the path of trampling democracy. An election without Georgescu will be illegitimate.” Peskov dismissed the allegations linking Georgescu to Russia as “baseless,” stating, “This is utter nonsense.”
