The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Sribnoye settlement in the Donetsk region has been taken over. In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, updated information on the activities of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine was shared. The statement indicated the advancement of the Russian army on the Ukrainian front, stating, “As a result of the determined actions of the Central Military Group units, the Sribnoye settlement of the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated.” The statement also noted that in the past 24 hours, attacks were carried out on Ukrainian military airport infrastructure, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) production, storage and training centers, as well as locations where Ukrainian soldiers, military equipment, and paid foreign fighters were deployed in 138 areas. It was reported that 224 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down by air defense systems.
