A Russian military airstrike on the capital city of Ukraine, Kiev, reportedly resulted in the death of 3 individuals and injury of 8 others. An official statement from the Ukrainian State Emergency Service (DSNS) on their Telegram account indicated that Russia launched an airstrike on Kiev tonight. The statement noted that the attacks targeted different areas of the capital, causing the loss of life for 3 individuals, including one child, and leaving 8 injured. The statement also mentioned that 27 individuals were rescued as a result of search and rescue efforts. Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko also declared on his social media account that Russians conducted attacks on Kiev throughout the night using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
