Samsung is Developing a Three-foldable Phone

The competition in the world of smartphones is heating up. Reports suggest that Samsung is preparing to enter the race for three-foldable phones.
Competition in the world of smartphones is shifting towards three-foldable devices.
An example of three-foldable phone technology pioneered by Huawei is also coming from Samsung. The South Korean tech giant confirmed at the launch event of the Galaxy S25 model that they are working on a phone that can fold into three. According to industry sources, Samsung will use a 6.49-inch (16.4 centimeters) cover screen for their three-foldable phone. Unlike Huawei’s tri-fold model, the screen on Samsung’s device will fold entirely inwards with no parts left exposed. This is expected to increase the durability of the phone. LIMITED PRODUCTION Samsung plans to manufacture a new screen and screen protective film specifically for this device. Due to the challenges in the production process, the three-fold phone is expected to be produced in limited numbers. HIGH PRICE EXPECTED Due to positioning the device in the high-end segment, it is anticipated to have a high price tag. Experts expect this exciting device to be priced around $3000 when it hits the market.
