Second Highest Daily Export in Republican History Achieved Yesterday

The second-highest daily export figure in the history of the Republic was reached in goods exports yesterday. On Friday, goods worth $2.065 billion were exported.
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat announced that the second-highest daily export figure in the history of the Republic was achieved in goods exports. Minister Bolat shared the record-breaking achievement in daily exports on his social media account. Bolat stated that the country would enter the Ramadan Feast with a great success in exports, saying, “A daily export as a feast gift. The second-highest daily export figure in the history of the Republic was achieved in goods exports. The daily goods export figure of $2.065 billion realized on Friday has gone down in history as the second highest daily export figure in the 101-year history of the Republic.”
“EXPORT CONTINUES TO BE THE LOCOMOTIVE OF GROWTH” Bolat pointed out that the momentum of increase in exports continues, stating: “In an environment where international protectionism is on the rise, our goods and services exports continue to be the locomotive of our country’s economy and economic growth. Our goods and services exports, which our governments managed to increase by 7.5 times to $377 billion in the last 22 years in line with the goal set by our President as ‘Turkey will be the century of commerce,’ continue to make positive contributions to production and employment growth, reducing unemployment, and benefiting our country with the foreign exchange it brings in terms of foreign trade and current account transactions.
