SpaceX Achieves a First: Manned Space Flight to Polar Orbit

SpaceX successfully completed the first manned space flight to Earth’s polar orbit with the “Fram2” mission. The team, including crypto billionaire Chun Wang, will conduct 22 experiments in space.

As part of the “Fram2” mission, SpaceX completed the first manned space flight to Earth’s polar orbit. The Dragon spacecraft carrying 4 civilian astronauts, including crypto billionaire Chun Wang, was successfully launched with the Falcon-9 rocket.

SpaceX, the space transportation company owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, conducted the first manned space flight to Earth’s polar orbit as part of the “Fram2” mission. The Dragon spacecraft carrying mission commander crypto billionaire Chun Wang, Norwegian cinematographer Jannicke Mikkelsen, Australian polar explorer Eric Philips, and German robotic researcher Rabea Rogge was successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA at 21:46 local time. The Falcon-9 rocket’s first stage booster, with reusability feature, landed shortly after launch on the unmanned platform named “A Shortfall of Gravitas” in the Atlantic Ocean.

THEY WILL CONDUCT 22 EXPERIMENTS

It was announced that during the mission expected to last between 3 and 5 days, the astronauts will reach an altitude of 422 kilometers and repeatedly travel from the North Pole to the South Pole. The team will progress in an orbit with an inclination of 60 to 90 degrees, allowing them to observe the North and South Pole regions that have not been fully observable from the International Space Station (ISS) before. It was reported that the astronauts will conduct 22 experiments aiming to improve human health and performance in space for future long-term missions during this period. The mission with an undecided end date will conclude with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off the Southern California coast.
