SpaceX achieved the first manned space flight to Earth’s polar orbit. Among the passengers of the Dragon spacecraft carrying 4 civilian astronauts in the flight was cryptocurrency billionaire Chun Wang. The space transportation company owned by Elon Musk, SpaceX, has successfully completed the first manned space flight to Earth’s polar orbit. The ‘Dragon’ spacecraft, carrying mission commander cryptocurrency billionaire Chun Wang, Norwegian cinematographer Jannicke Mikkelsen, Australian polar researcher Eric Philips, and German robotic researcher Rabea Rogge, was launched by the ‘Falcon-9’ rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The first stage booster of the Falcon 9 rocket, with reusable feature, landed shortly after launch on an unmanned platform named ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas’ in the Atlantic Ocean. In a statement regarding the returning space travelers by SpaceX, it was mentioned that “Dragon and Fram2 made an early morning landing on the coast of California today, completing the first manned space flight mission to explore Earth’s polar regions.” This journey holds the distinction of being the first manned space mission to circumnavigate the Earth over both the North and South Poles.
