Stampede at a Train Station in India: 15 Dead

In the capital of India, New Delhi, a stampede broke out at a train station, resulting in the death of 15 individuals.
At New Delhi Train Station, there was an unusually high volume of people due to the Kumb Mela religious festival taking place in the northern city of Prayagraj. After the cancellation of two trains, delayed arrivals caused panic at the station.
A stampede occurred among the passengers, with reports that three of the 15 individuals who lost their lives were children.
In late January, a similar stampede occurred at the same festival, resulting in the death of at least 40 individuals. Additionally, during a stampede at the festival in 1954, over 400 people lost their lives.
