State support to be listed on the bill: starting on April 1

Subscribers will now be able to see how much state support is applied on both electricity and natural gas bills. The application will begin on April 1.
Upon the instruction of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, EPDK sent letters to distribution companies for arrangements to be made on electricity bills. BOTAŞ also initiated work for natural gas. These works have reached their final stages and a schedule has been created.
Starting from April 1, 2025, the amount of state support to be accrued on bills will be included. Both the actual cost and the support amount can be seen simultaneously on the bill. The amount to be paid will be written at the bottom. This application is only valid for monthly bills of residential subscribers. Commercial establishments, industrial consumers, and those generating electricity will not receive this information. According to the regulation introduced on electricity bills as of February 1, residential subscribers consuming less than 417 kilowatt-hours per month are eligible for state support. State support is applied at a rate of 60% for low consumption levels and 40% for high consumption levels in electricity bills. In natural gas bills, the state support is reflected at a rate of 65%.
