Stock market concluded the day with an increase

At Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index completed the day with a 2.61% increase, closing at 9,911.07 points. The BIST 100 index rose by 252.36 points compared to the previous close, with a total trading volume of 145.8 billion lira. The banking index gained 6.41%, while the holding index increased by 1.33%. Among sector indices, banking was the highest gainer, while textile leather was the biggest loser with a 1.42% decrease. Despite concerns about the protectionist trade attitude of the US in the global markets, a mixed trend was observed following signals from the announced data indicating that inflationary pressures may have eased, with domestic markets showing positive divergence. According to the data released today, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 2.27% on a monthly basis in February, below expectations, and decreased to 39.05% on an annual basis. Analysts pointed out that tomorrow the real effective exchange rate domestically and the unemployment rate in the Eurozone and Japan internationally will be monitored, highlighting that technically, the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 10,100 and 10,180 points, while the support levels are at 9,900 and 9,800.
