The BIST 100 index started the day with a 1.55% increase at 9,553.24 points in Borsa Istanbul. At the opening, the BIST 100 index rose by 146.08 points and 1.55% to reach 9,553.24 points compared to the previous close. The banking index gained 2%, while the holding index increased by 1.49%. All sector indices were on the rise, with banking being the top gainer. Following a buying-focused trend on the domestic front yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul closed the day at 9,407.17 points, gaining 0.29% and positively contrasting global indices. In global markets, amidst selling pressure following tariff escalation, a mixed trend is prominent due to negotiation optimism. Analysts noted that today, the real return rates of financial investment instruments and the treasury cash balance will be monitored domestically, while internationally, the data agenda is calm. From a technical standpoint, they highlighted that the BIST 100 index has resistance levels at 9,600 and 9,700 points, with support levels at 9,400 and 9,300.
