Stock market rose in the first half of the day

In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index increased by 0.85 percent in the first half of the day, rising to 9,604 points.
Moving in an upward trend in the first half of the day, the BIST 100 index rose to 9,604 points with an increase of 80.64 points and 0.85 percent as of 1:00 PM compared to the previous closing. The total trading volume exceeded 40 billion Turkish liras. The banking index gained 0.84 percent, and the holding index also gained 0.64 percent. Among the sector indices, construction gained the most by 2.2 percent, while sports was the only losing sector. In the global markets, there is selling pressure following the reciprocal tariff announcement made by the U.S. President Donald Trump yesterday.
Due to the positive impact of the inflation data announced domestically coming better than expected, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul followed an upward trend in the first half of the day, standing out positively compared to world stock markets. Analysts mentioned that in the afternoon, the domestic data agenda is calm, while in the international arena, the meeting minutes of the European Central Bank (ECB) and the U.S. trade balance and weekly jobless claims will be followed.
Technically, it was noted that the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 9,700 and 9,800 points, while the support levels are at 9,500 and 9,600.
