A storm hit the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and Georgia in the USA, resulting in the deaths of 9 people.

In Kentucky, Governor Andy Beshear reported that numerous homes, businesses, and roads were submerged in floods caused by the storm. According to initial assessments, at least 8 people lost their lives. Beshear mentioned that emergency response teams are currently in the search and rescue phase, having conducted over a thousand rescue operations in less than 24 hours. He emphasized the need for Kentucky residents to be cautious, noting that over 300 roads are closed. In Georgia, one person was reported to have lost their life due to the storm. While other states also experienced property damage from the storm, there have been no reports of further casualties yet.
