Storm in Spain: 3 people lost their lives

The impact of a storm in the Andalusia region in southern Spain caused the roof of a warehouse to collapse, resulting in the loss of three workers’ lives.

A storm named “Nuria” is affecting a large part of Spain, having a negative impact on daily life. In the city of Seville in the southern region of Andalusia, the collapse of the roof of a warehouse due to the storm led to the death of three people.

According to a statement from the health department of the Andalusian regional government, the roof and side wall of an agricultural warehouse in the Cortija el Seguro industrial area in Seville collapsed due to strong winds. Officials announced that three workers lost their lives as a result of the collapse in the warehouse, mentioning that a high-voltage power line tower in the area was also damaged, prompting increased security measures. Meanwhile, the National Meteorology Institute (AEMET) shared information that the wind speed reached 150 kilometers per hour due to the storm, especially affecting Andalusia, the Canary Islands, and the eastern regions of the country.
