Syrian President Sharah Criticizes Trump’s Gaza Plan: Neither Wise Nor Moral

Syrian President Ahmed Sharah commented on the controversial Gaza plan by US President Donald Trump, stating that “leading an effort to force Palestinians to leave their land would not be wise, moral, or politically correct.”

In an interview, Syrian President Ahmed Sharah addressed Donald Trump’s Gaza plan, which has sparked worldwide backlash. Sharah noted that Trump has sent positive messages so far, and could be a key player in stopping global conflicts, especially if he ends the Russia-Ukraine war.

Expressing his thoughts on Trump, Sharah said, “He is focused on domestic politics and revitalizing the US economy. He is also interested in building peace in the Middle East, which has experienced significant instability in the last 20 years. This is a promising start.” Sharah added, “PEOPLE DIDN’T LEAVE THEIR LAND DESPITE PAIN, DEATH, DESTRUCTION” Sharah criticized Trump’s controversial Gaza plan, saying, “I don’t believe any power can drive people out of their lands. Many countries have tried to do so and all have failed, especially during the recent conflict in Gaza. People endured pain, death, and destruction but they refused to leave their land. Leading an effort to force Palestinians to leave their land would not be wise, moral, or politically correct.”
