In Şanlıurfa, the license areas for exploration of 2 geothermal sources and natural mineral water have been put up for auction. The announcement regarding this matter by the Şanlıurfa Governorate Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate was published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the exploration of 1 geothermal source area in the Karaköprü district of Şanlıurfa and the operation of 1 geothermal source area in the Haliliye district will be auctioned off through an open tender bidding process. The auctions will be separately held on March 3, 2025, at the Meeting Room of the Additional Center Building of the Şanlıurfa Governorate Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate.
