An explosion occurred near a bus in Pakistan’s Baluchistan province. Five people, who were identified as security officials on the bus, lost their lives, while 12 others were injured. Additionally, on March 11th in Baluchistan, an armed attack on a train carrying around 450 passengers from Quetta to Peshawar resulted in the loss of 31 lives and the rescue of 354 captives. The Baluchistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. Pakistan military sources categorized it as a “terrorist attack” in statements to journalists.

TERRORISM ISSUE IN PAKISTAN
Armed attacks in Pakistan are rampant, particularly in the bordering provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan sharing borders with Afghanistan. Militant groups claiming to represent the Pashtun and Baluch ethnic groups in both provinces carry out attacks against Pakistani security forces and civilians. While Islamabad alleges that the Pakistani Taliban is stationed in Afghanistan and orchestrates attacks from there, the Afghan government denies these claims.
