Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, shared on social media, stating, “After Istanbul Airport and 33 production facilities, 5G can now be experienced in stadiums as well. We continue our efforts to expand it rapidly throughout Turkey. Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park / Galatasaray – AZ Alkmaar Match.” Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that transitioning to 5G will provide faster internet usage, stating, “5G will have many benefits, from the use of robots in production points to remote control of certain machines. We will conduct the tender this year, and by 2026, we will have transitioned to 5G nationwide in Turkey. We are also testing it in stadiums, and tonight’s match between Galatasaray and AZ Alkmaar will mark the first trial of 5G at the stadium.”
