The Energy Burst Lasting 90 Seconds After Death: “The Soul Separates from the Body”

Researchers claim to have found evidence indicating that the soul leaves the body at the moment of death. Experts suggest that energy bursts occurring in the brains of clinically dead patients when there is no heartbeat or blood pressure may be evidence of the soul departing from the body.

In their latest study, scientists examined the brain activities of clinically dead patients. During the research, small sensors were placed in the brains of seven patients with only a few minutes left. Complex devices measured each patient’s blood pressure and heart rate until vital functions dropped to zero. Experts proposed that an energy burst in the brain of a dying patient without “blood pressure” or “heart rhythm” could be evidence of the soul leaving the body after death. Dr. Stuart Hameroff from the University of Arizona noted in his study of clinically dead patients that strange energy bursts after death were recorded with electroencephalogram (EEG) sensors. Hameroff stated, “This burst occurred when everything was gone, with no blood pressure and heart rate.” He emphasized that this brain wave activity, called gamma synchronization, lasted “30 to 90 seconds” before the patient clinically died. Hameroff, who suggests that consciousness may consume less energy compared to other brain activities and could exist “at a deeper level,” relates this to consciousness leaving the body. Additionally, referencing a study by Dr. Robin Lester Carhart-Harris exploring the effects of drugs on mental health, he mentioned that MRI scans showed no brain activity in subjects in a coma. These findings contribute a new dimension to the debates on death and consciousness, while scientists emphasize that research in this field will continue.
