The Federal Reserve (Fed) has released audited financial statements for the year 2024.

The Fed reported an operating loss of $77.6 billion for 2024. Revealing audited financial statements for the year 2024, the Fed’s operating loss was calculated at $77.6 billion.

In 2023, the bank also reported an operating loss of $114.3 billion.

It was in 2022 when the Fed last turned a profit, reporting earnings of $58.8 billion.
